A retard imho is someone who thinks the otter heron vid is a one off set in the wild,
anyone with the slightest iota of common,would suss it is filmed by idiots,at an otter farm,and youtube has lots of stuff posted by tamarotterwildlife

Perhaps the RSPCA should become involved,and nick the *******s who set up this
vile example.

Craig. ive been on the phone to the,RSPB and the RSPCA who are now investigating
the totally staged cruel death of the heron,.....tamarotterwildlife have some questions to answer to now.
 
Are we saying this was all staged then...a purpose made film? If so, the powers that be had better stamp on it quick :eek: We've had 'Alien', then 'Predator', then 'Alien V Predator'....now this sick amateur has tried to jump on the band wagon with 'Predator V Heron'. Having said that, if the sequel these apparent otter owners was 'Jaws V Predator', perhaps we could delay calling a halt to things for just a bit....................................................:p

Seriously though, if this was something set up to make money through 'U' tube, then these guys need....no, 'nuff said!

Well done howard..Its these same farms that i think are secretly stil releasing Otters without permision or licences to do so..That is just my opinion and not fact..I think were dealing with idiots so anything is possible.

Secret farms!! Looks like a zoo or wildlife park to me.
It does smell a bit fishy, if you'll excuse the pun, herons usually scarper if you get within 50 yards of them, I'd imagine they'd do their best to avoid otters in the same way.
 
Another thing is..if he loves otters as it seems why on earth would he or they stage such a thing ....:confused:..bum fights..happy slapping..

What do you imagine would look different then Rhys....how can you say it looks more like a zoo or wildlife park than a 'secret farm'? Have you seen lots of these 'secret farms', so you know how to tell one from the other? Or are you merely once again demonstrating your penchant for jumping on anyone who dares say anything that could be seen as being even vaguely critical of the otter 'happening' :D

And it appears I was right! Otter paranoia!

Don't see why not....seems the thing to do, once you have been welcomed, fed and rehoused by various government agencies and charities in this country. After all, we wouldn't want them to feel marginalised or anything....all the charges of otter discrimination that would follow. We wouldn't be able to afford the compensation demands from the civil rights courts if that happened :D:D

That footage wasn't shot at some secret otter farm, it was taken at the Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre in North Petherwin, near Launceston. The clue is in the name of the poster 'tamarotterwildlife' which suggests that it was someone from that organisation who actually posted it on YouTube. (if youre still not convinced, the video names the two adult otters as william and hilda, both of whom are mentioned by name on their website. Interestingly their website states:-

"The British Otters are usually held in pairs or as family groups. They are Carmen, Coady, William, Hilda, Pluto, Harriet, Tamarisk, Lottie, Tor and Ellie. We rehabilitate and release orphaned otters"

Although it doesn't mention what they do with the cubs they themselves breed...

Just as a matter of interest, are the otters tagged or microchipped when released? The otter fraternity could then keep tabs on their little darlings - same goes for the cubs produced in the wild, trap 'em and chip 'em. As for the heron clip, it didn't ring quite true. Could it have been one of Bruce Forsyth's cuddly toys thrown to the otters? Well done for identifying the ottery. Why do people give wild animals stupid names.
