Harrison Torrix 12ft 1.25lbs T.C

Have ai read somewhere that they are more like 1.5tc rods?

12ft 1.25 torrix is a very tippy rod IMO. It has a sensitive tip and softish first 1/3, the butt is powerful, definitely stronger than the 1.5 version.

Has anyone got these rods and if so what are they like? Looking at this rod for Chub and Barbel on small to medium rivers and a bit of tench fishing.
I've got these and they're brilliant for my Chub & perch fishing. Lovely blanks at 11ft.
I do have an older Torrix from Mark Tunley at 12ft with seperate quiver section (for drennan tips) and only caught small stuff on it.

And I've in the past landed barbel to 12lb (not the intended target) on light quiver tip setup, but just didn't rush or bully it, & all was fine with landing it. So a Torrix 1.25 could handle it no problem, but I wouldn't want to use that rod in strong flows or hit & hold scenarios personally. 👍
