I can't understand why one person feels the need to push 'their' personal beliefs onto another.

If we look at this particular case...even tho there are many examples through out the pages of BFW... ok Tim hasn't used an unhooking matt, but so what.
If he feels that one wasn't needed, then that's his choice.

I suspect Tim knew the reaction he would get.....

Personally I don't agree with it, and I try to use one for what ever species I'm fishing for (not always I admit tho), but I certainly wouldn't 'demand' that everyone uses one.
I make that choice, and I'm happy with it.

I did think, when I saw Tim's video, that this would cause a stir.

I have no problem with the pro's and con's of the use of unhooking matts getting discussed, but please try to do it in a civil manner and not force your personal beliefs onto others.

By all means point out that ideally it would have probably looked better on an angling guides video, if an unhooking matt was used, but except the fact that if Tim or anyone else doesn't deem one necessary, then that's their choice.

As for BFW 'allowing' Tim to show his video on the site.... why wouldn't they?
He hasn't broken any rules.
The last time I checked, the BS handling code wasn't law.....
