Food!

Sainsbury's long life bacon brunch! Its slice's of potato with bacon and onion. Its great for breakfast with beans also.

Since i was introduced to the campstove toaster i cant get past eating peanut butter on toast.......yum,yum,yum:D:D

well lads some nice and varied food, there, think you cant beat vindaloo and rice pipering hot in a tin foil, and a meat nudger to to it off, or paddys docker everything on, lol

basically a cake made with lard, sugar and flour...a West country "delicacy" (I had a girlfriend who was from down there and she taught me how to make it..I think she wanted the life insurance pay out)and see Willl's post above for the treatment regime required.

In Yorkshire A lardy cake is a big round fruit bun ( like a tea cake) coated in honey. Just polished one of from Hunters in Helmsley ( delicious) but don't think I'd be tempted to take one on the bank as it would attract every wasp for miles around, I don't share lardy cake :p
For convenience a Ginsters Cornish pasty and a flask of beef tea or cold water depending on the weather.

Cakes. For your information Mr Gaskell, should you find yourself heading for the middle reaches, the Spa in Longridge is doing Galaxy cake bars, Mars mini rolls and a variety of Mr Kiplings - 2 for £2! ;)

Is a meat nudger like a pork sword?
let us sincerely hope not...and just as worrying is the
paddys docker
sounds distincly like something Rambling Syd Rumpo would use on his gruntfutucks to me (for those under 50 ask your dad...or even granddad)

42p pack of bourbon creams goes a long way!

On long weekend sessions a little and often feed of bacon/sausage sarnies does the trick, but the rod has a habit of rattling off just as the bacon nears perfection in the pan.

Favorites

Another champion just happens to be Black pudding and Cheese on toast swilled down with a sugary brew ! Gets the ticker creaking.

Alynson Taylors gloucestershire old spot , pork meatballs with butter beans in a rich tomato sauce , cracking bit of grub , i also like her hot pots 2 mins in the saucepan , crusty rolls and a gallon of tea , job done .

A full breakie at the Raven truck stop ( a41/a49) junction, on the way to fish the Severn at Ironbridge. Big enough to see ya through the day. Don,t forget a bog roll from the garage next door. :D

Whatever anyone eats it's a mistake to go hungry. I used to use supermarket mussels for chub, a decent size pack is only 99p. After a while I found I had eaten most of them! It became necessary to freeze them first then let them defrost (they were pre-frozen) in order to make them unfit to eat. The chub didn't seem to mind and I no longer ran out of bait after half an hour!

A flask of coffee and 25g of gold drum!
