Food!

Cold cumberland sausage barms with piccalilli...handsome...
Lancashire Pasty from the TT garage when on Brockholes....

For the non-Lancashire people, ignorant southerners, etc..... a "Barm" (otherwise known as flour cake in Bolton) is basically a largish, flatish, bread roll, excellent when stuffed full of chips, or indeed a Carrs pasty :D

Yes, I went to my fridge and absolutely destroyed no less than three Co-Op mini Melton Mowbray pork pies not long ago.

Poofs!

Rag puddings are a rectangular steak and kidney pudding ,just the right size to fit on two rounds of white warbies, the green one ! With plenty of butter and mustard!

Dear God....I can't take it all in  I think I will have to go and search my passport out and go up and try some of this nosh. Sounds weird but I am disturbingly attracted to it....the power of the dark side is strong indeed :D

Cheers, Dave.

But I've had barbel on them ... they're like meatballs with a bit of crust ... the ones that "got it" late last night were in a pack of six (eight?) reduced to 40p at my local Co-op as they were coming up to sell-by date.

My food for fishing? Summer: several Sprite bottles filled with iced tapwater for daytime fishing; Winter: I might go mad and take a homemade sarnie.

mmmmmmmm, breakfast

Well done on the pies Paul, excellent bargain hunting. I feel robbed at paying 25p a pie . . . . . . but they were worth it . . . . :)
