Fishy New Year Resolutions

Hi Guys,
A happy and Healthy New Year to all,
last close season I scouted out several areas to fish that accommodated my ‘special needs’….short walks, safe banks, night fishing, quiet and barbel present!
I didn’t fish once last season as a series ‘issues’ afflicted myself and ‘er indoors’. This year I would like that scenario to change! So going forward, good luck to all and have a ‘good un’,

Mine will simply be, to spend more time on the bank with my younger brother, whilst I'm still able. Happy new year to one and all.

Almost a “ditto” to Derek’s post, but with my young son on the bank rather than my younger brother (although that wouldn’t be a bad thing either).

In terms of fishy-wishy lists, a double-figured barbel on float and centrepin from a Yorkshire river would be up there, but I won’t be chasing it wildly. An upper double carp on float would also be good

I've got a few wishes aside from just enjoying being out there, an 8lb tench from an estate lake, one nice carp, a few more barbel on the pin and a few nice sessions for anything with my dad.

Spend a bit more time on the rivers rather than still waters and work more on my mental health which has took a battering this year.

Hoping for some settled weather , both the estuary i fish and the tidal have took a battering that seems like forever, and no matter what direction i am sat under my umbrella on the humber i tend to get piss wet through as the nice window weather becomes a blowing hooley soak fest from all directions .

Been a spectator for last 3 years despite being a member of 2 clubs got to change this Health business & family issues have caused me a few problems need to get things back to normal
