Indeed! Look at all those tuppence halfpenny cane rods and centre pins many thought were little more than junk , usurped by the glass rod and the fixed spool reel and consigned to the back of the shed . There worth good money now, providing you have got the original bags and boxes, and very big money if you have a picture of Chris Yates wafting said rod around on some picturesque river :D Funny old world ....
 
Clive, being an occasional dabbler in the stock market I wish I could guarentee the return I could get on my two Lythe pins purchased several years ago. They do get used too!
