Robert the extending net handle is excellent BUT don’t over tighten the collar or it can split the mechanism (it’s plastic). A mate of mine buggered one completely but when returned to The Tackle Box (by me ‘cos I’m local) they replaced the broken part FOC ). I’ve had Drennan handles for the past fifteen years but if I hadn’t got them would buy the Tackle Box handle without hesitation

Thanks Bill,I'd like a drennan twist lock but they are just a bit out of my budget.

Tackle box is a bit heavier and floppyer than the drennan but mechanism more reliable and more robust.

Just had to order a new plastic tightening bit (technical term) due my heavy handedness. As others have said beware of overtightening - otherwise its mega!!
