You are chasing yourself round and round in circles Andrew...slow down before you disappear up your own backside mate :D You keep making disparaging remarks about beach casting rods and the like, but claim to want to comfortably lob 6 to 8 ounces. It's not every beach caster that can lob 8 ounces Andrew, so how far away from one of those do you think you are going to end up with...whatever name they wish to call the blank :p

Very true Andrew, I knew what you meant. BUT....it still takes a powerful rod to lob 8 ounces the thirty five yards you mentioned earlier, on a frequent basis, without coming to grief sooner rather than later. However, I will back away from this one and let others far better qualified offer advice...much better idea mate :D
