Adam's a lovely bloke, and i have bought some quality gear off him, unfortunately someone on here took advantage of his generous offers only to put it on Ebay, f***ing disgusting!!!
I doubt they'll have made much due to eBay commission

Really…is it?
I’m not that person by the way but Adam isn’t selling them cheap to do us a favour.
He starts at a point, gets no interest and brings em down till they sell and his listing is often on eBay too priced similarly

If it was a one off very cheap or free item specifically for a bfw member to have then yes I agree selling it would be out of order but it’s not.

He buys them then he sells them. There’s no sentimental value and while he might lose a shit load of cash doing so I don’t think it’s anything to do with generosity but more his own curiosity of what different rods are like then he moves them on for what he thinks they’ll make.

That’s not meant to offend Adam at all btw but his adverts are on here and eBay. He’s not trying to do the whole world a favour just get a proportion of his money back.

In conclusion…. Anyone that buys them has got absolutely every right to do whatever they want with them in my opinion. If they sell them and make a small profit then good on them I say and I’m sure Adam doesn’t care either as he’s probably had to drop the price twice just to get rid.

Thanks for the physiological profile 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wasn’t meant to be offensive towards you in anyway Adam and if I’m off the mark with anything I’ve said above I’ll put it right.
I am not affended.!! It's took a while ,but I am now very happy with rods I now use.🙏🏾
Very much doubt I will be selling anymore rods on here in the near future .👍

Which ones are you using at the moment
Hi Richard ,I am using Century Armalite Mk 3 Cork ,I have the 1.75 and 2.25 and find them perfect for my fishing on the Trent ,both sets of rods have a Nice through Action and cast the weights I use with ease .There is also quite a number of Carp present in the Areas of the Trent I fish, and I mostly use Boilies so when the tip goes round it could quite easily be a carp although Barbel are more common.I also have a pair of 2.75 which I will use in Winter when the River is carrying a lot of water .I have tried Torrix,Hi S specialist and Daiwa rods and the Armalites are Perfect for me .I also like the Alps reel seats ,much better than the Hi S clone seats which had to be screwed up very tight to stop the reel seat coming undone.I realise I will be in the minority on here by using what is essentially Carp rods , but there are some big powerful Barbel and Carp in the Trent nowadays and I would rather be overgunned on occasions rather than undergunned and take to long to land These fish .
