Why isotopes, Chris? Mini glowsticks* are as cheap as chips and extremely bright these days plus you won't be crying in your beer if one flies off into the river on a cast. Plus, isotopes do fade over the years. Just a thought.

Two rods with a pair on each, for twenty-five nighttime sessions for £6.45...seems a very cost-effective way to fish.
