Make your own, in the kitchen, from ground up Hali Pellets, preferably on or around June 15th, stink the house out, and the wife will be glad to see the back of you for a couple of days while she fumigates...... job sorted.

Because I can flavour them in the mix , use them as a paste wrap if not boiled, or use them as a paste, use them as a straight boilie that will probably leak off more goodies than a pellet, crumble them and fill a feeder or pva bag with a softer bait than a pellet.......
Or just because I can.

To be fair, Barbel are fairly easy to catch on most baits (boilies included) as they get pre-occupied on feeding, so I wouldn't be spending too much on boilies....
....concentrate on feeding them without scaring them and they will take just about anything you put in front of them
