Big Cat sightings

Everitt is a documentary maker working with Netflix etc. You know the ones that do Big Foot, Haunted Houses in Winchcombe, Nessie Hunters, etc...and any 'proof' coming out of Cirencester College should be taken with a pinch of salt, 'young farmers on the piss'. ;) .

Anyway I will keep an eye out my garden backs on to open Cotswold farmland, but I do have a black lab and the last time she went for a stroll there were eight 'Panther' sightings in the local facebook page.:)View attachment 31388
Gorgeous by the way :)

Me and my mate fish Harvington and he said he saw a big cat last year.

I had no reason to not believe him especially when this was reported a few weeks ago:

Looping in @John Care as I’m sure a photo you put up last year looked like it was at Harvington.

I did mate yes. Chap I know was fishing at MF, and a big cat walked along the opposite bank. I think a few anglers have had similar experiences in that area.

The farmer who owns those fields must have seen something over the years even if it’s just prints.

Any chance you could post those pics again please as they look to have been deleted ?

On the news yesterday a Scottish chap specialises in releasing endangered species into the wild, such as Lynx, Scottish wild cats, water voles and the like. He is not licenced to do so, and obviously farmers are worried about their sheep.
It is not therefore inconceivable that these big cats are in fact out there. But merely as a project and not, as yet breeding.
Only last week three Lynx were rounded up, sadly one died, totally crazy behaviour, leave these re wildings to the folk who understand these things, as with Otters. 🤔

I've watched quite a bit of YT footage that claims to be big cat sightings but I'm still to be convinced, can you provide a convincing clip?

I can't categorically deny that they roam our countryside but the evidence, given modern tech' is quite underwhelming.

I've seen big cats, one on my syndicate but it was just a big cat, as in, a very large black domesticated cat, which at the time had me thinking other things.

As for seeing pine martens, badgers, etc, even if you haven't seen one, we know, without doubt that they exist, so that comparable argument is moot!
Well I've recently seen my first live badger. In my back garden of all places. My wife also saw a badger the other morning. This time at the front of the house. Presumably the same animal?

I can't provide an indisputable sighting clip mainly podcast links. The 'big cat experts' on these podcasts seem convincing and genuine people to me. As do quite a few others that post on here. Their word is good enough for me.

Quite a few badgers this way. Once I had to slow down as three made their way down the road ahead of me for over 100 yards.

Meanwhile this lady was attacked by a wild cat in her house. There are quite a few in UK at the moment.

I'm not sure which one was photoshoped.

Fairly good evidence at about 31 minutes. The Forest of Dean. The YouTube video is Chasing Shadows:Britain's big cat mystery.

A weird fact is that although I live 200 yards from a field gate, twice, I have found dead badgers in front to my garage. Both were about a year apart. I know our local badger rescue guy who didn't not regard this as unusual.. It's a p when I cannot get the car out without moving them. Ps on a lighter note. Just taken delivery of an explorer ev. Taken a few days to get used to it but even as it's my 42nd car it really is amazing. Terrible ride as most cars are to me nowadays but it's actually fun.
