BFW Autumn Trent fish-in now booking

Chris, Put me down for the Saturday day/night without food please.

Would someone be able to point me in the direction of a good Zander peg please? Not fighting Scuba for the best peg as he'll make mincemeat out of me!

Trevor

I'm not really interested, I doubt many are.[/QUOTE]

Well said Chris. Can't be doing with all the politics and back stabbing, very boring Fred, time to change the record as no one is listening.................BIG YAWN!

Trevor

This is becoming tedious - can someone take their petty politics elsewhere. This is ruining the thread and spirit of the fish in.
If this persists I'll take action. IMO (and I'm allowed one!) this is extremely poor. I could add more but I'll leave it at that - for now.
Your cooperation would be appreciated.
Bob

This is so sad to see. The BFW fish ins are really good friendly experiences, why this thread was allowed to get hijacked by such irrelevance is beyond me.

Trust me - this thread does not represent the good cheer and banter that will prevail over the weekend. I'm looking forward to meeting a few of you for the first time.

Temporarily locked pending action - paul4

Now unlocked again.

Ok. Bob was far too polite, and too busy anyway. I don't do moderator, but ...................

I've just chewed some glass and cannot be bothered to try to be polite.

Unneccessary stuff has been deleted - either posts of parts of posts, some simply antagonistic comment, others simply responses to such.

Moderators have not had much to do, gladly, on the "new BFW" but if this happens again then the big Ban button might be employed. Bob, and the team, have another life. None wish to spend time a la the "old BFW"

There are no tools to do what we want to do with vBulletin, so I have had to mix and match. Might have missed some so no shouts of "unfair ref". "We have a copy"

Just get back to the charity fish-in and nowt else, please guys

Chris is away until tomorrow I think Mike, he will get back to you soon, no problem for places at the moment so you will be fine.

Tony.

Hi guys,
Sorry I'bve been working in Dublin since Saturday.
First of all big sorry to Andy and the mods for all the hassle caused, thanks for sorting it out and not locking the thread.
It will definately go ahead now we have a few more attendees committed and yes Mike no problem if you or anyone else would like to come just get a cheque off to me asap.
Mark, thanks for the kind offer but I think we are OK now but a few more would be great guys.

payment details

I'm getting PM's about payment details so thought it better to repost here rather than keep PM'ing them over and over.
Thanks for all the pm messages of support, much appreciated,I have got a thick skin and a back like a duck fortunately.

Sorry for all the late replies to PM's I've been mega busy at work all week.
Will try and get this sorted over the BH weekend.
Just to clarify a few things I'm getting asked by PM,we've got 30 pegs booked exclusive for BFW but have 85 in total which are HKS members only at night anyway so no need to worry about allocation everybody who wants to come will get in,just means late comers will have a bit of a walk if lots i.e. more than 30 arrive.
It's £10 per session,Friday,Saturday,Sunday (day only) I'm aiming to start Friday lunchtime and finish Sunday afternoon so £30 if you fish all weekend and just £3 for Grahams dinner on Saturday evening which must be pre-booked so graham can cater for the numbers required.
Two Canes and myself checked the pub out last weekend during the Div 1 National, the all day breakfast for £8.50 is superb and immense ,the rest of the food is excellent and reasonable prices ,just a 5-10 minute walk down the bank.
We've got a secure car park which will be locked at night, there will be camping allowed, room for a couple of caravans.Night fishing Friday and Saturday night only.
Just to clarify, just in case anyone is wondering, all money collected will go directly to the charity apart from the food money.Barnsley have donated the pegging fee which is normally £3 per peg per day and HKS have donated the normal £6 guest fee per member/night.There will be a presentation to the Barnsley club President on Saturday night at the dinner.
If you haven't fished The Trent before don't worry there will be lots of friendly advice on hand in terms of swims and tackle.
Any questions post on here and I will start another thread for names and confirm cheques received just in case any go missing in the post.
I don't want to do BACS or Paypal so cheque only.
Cheques made out to "Chris Pearson Fiskerton Syndicate" post to :

I've been asked to clarify this for those not familiar with the use of a comma:D

It's £10 per session,Friday,Saturday,Sunday (day only) I'm aiming to start Friday lunchtime and finish Sunday afternoon so £30 if you fish all weekend and just £3 for Grahams dinner on Saturday evening which must be pre-booked so Mike can cater for the numbers required.

Night fishing is allowed so you can fish all night on Friday night, you can also fish all night on Saturday night, however we will be packing up at about lunchtime on Sunday so NO night fishing on Sunday night.
Hope that helps those that haven't read "Eats shoots and leaves" ;)

Prawn sandwiches are only eaten by fans at Old Trafford!!

Bread and Dripping is acceptable though!!
