best glue.. again

sorry for another glue thread... the upper on my leather walking boots has just started to come away from the rubber sole, its about a 2" section on the inside edge. I know Gorilla glue highly recommended but they do several types, not clear what would be the best for this job ? thanks gents

There will be lots of suitable glues but none of them will work on dirt. If possible give the surfaces a light sand down and vacuum to remove dust before before application.

Quick question. I have a variety of footwear/boots for fishing. The warmest are my Muckboots Artic Sport. They are now on their third winter of heavy use. The other day I notice they started to leak slightly. On inspection, the leak appears to be where the plastic rand meets the plastic upper...

Bonds almost any material to any material, i.e. cork, metal, wood, graphite, fiberglass, EVA etc. Retains a degree of flexibility.

I'd use CT1. Sticks anything to anything wet or dry. They do a degreaser/ solvent too which is useful for preparation. Nicely flexible too.

Had the same problem Derek once it’d been opened. You have to store it in the freezer and warm it up before using it....not kidding you, see the link in my previous post.

Hi Bill, this was a new unused/unopened tube. When i did open it, no matter how hard i squeezed, it wouldn't budge, ( and yes i did pierce the top ). In the end, i squeezed with pliers and the tube burst.
