No idea Paul ... due to the amount of Chub I encounter , I always use a separate hard hook bait that they supply . These are glugged by myself in a pot . Otherwise I'd be paranoid the chub have had it awayConsidering they are a leakage type boilie What’s the breakdown time of the freezer boilies in the water before you need to change a hookbait?
Think I might try the c-stim I’ve heard good things about itI've got the pro flow hard hook baits . I made the paste as a wrap and a bit for in the lead centre . I like a paste wrap that slowly breaks down and leaks off down stream .
I also dip in the C-stim liquid which is really thick and adds a scent trail . Lost one barbel already to a snag ... in a stretch where they are very thin on the ground![]()

When I first used them I could tell when they had come off the hair when the small taps and pulls ceased but I couldn’t say how long that was? I’ve since got the hard hookers as mentioned aboveConsidering they are a leakage type boilie What’s the breakdown time of the freezer boilies in the water before you need to change a hookbait?
