BAA 16lbe? ?

Now Folks check out the middle severn 15.2 on the b.a.a website.

Had a look at this as I sit in home regretting not going perching, forecast was for bright sun actual cloudy and dull :mad:

If that fish is what the claimed weight says the captor must be a very big bloke, its a nice fish but nowhere near the claimed weight.
 
I guessed it at 12 and couldn`t believe the scales went round that far! Checked `em when I got home against postal scales and they`re bang on. Rare beastie indeed.

Cracking fish Martin, I had a slightly bigger fish in august, it looked like a dub in the net but when I lifted it out of the water and felt the weight my legs went weak. They are very rare fish in the severn.
