Advice needed on rods

A happy medium and one to look at is the Wychwood 13foot maximiser one of the best off the shelf big river rods i have seen. One last bit of advice try before you buy and if that means putting a reel on and a 8 ounce weight, then do it!! I drove 60 miles to check out my customs and they are the only rods
i haven't replaced.

Would those customs be by Bruce Ashby by any chance?! ;):)

Danny - the 13' Wychwood Maximiser is definately worth a look if you are picking one off the shelf.
