The clock on BFW being 2 mins fast, and your post patrick being made at 00.00, means you had your lines in the water before midnight !! you're a very naughty boy !

So, its 0104am, by my Timex, who has banked a seasons first Barbel ?

It will be a couple of days till I hit the Banks, still recovering from a days wrecking.

No apology coming Patrick.
I actually posted with the 3 EEK emocations first because i thought Wow! that was quick.
From my computer i can see the television screen which had BBC news 24 on, with the time at the bottom of the screen, i could see the BFW clock said i posted at 00.43 - the time on my computer said 00.41, and agreed with the time showing on the television also 00.41, if the BFW clock said you posted at 00.00 midinight the true time of your post was therefore 23.58.

I then edited my post and said you're a very naughty boy ! which was made at 00.45

Allowing for casting in - and an instant take !, and a minute or so playing the fish, and landing it, means you must have cast in ( in real time not what your watch was saying ) at least few minutes before the time of your post, which even if 00.00 had been the correct time, would have still meant you cast out a few minutes early !

Well I don't use a centrepin so im able to get the fish in much quicker
 
Wow there are some green eyed monsters on here.

Chris I posted my catch as the fish was resting. I can tell you now that FISH welfare is my foremost priority when angling. You will notice I said FISH and not barbel I believe whilst the BS promote a BARBEL handling code of practice it should be a FISH handling code.

Tight line's for your season Chris.

Coops was probably tucked up in bed at midnight, having spent the day sipping shandy's with the boys on his lower Severn syndicate, while concocting more post to wind you all up....

Nice effort coops, but to be honest, its getting a little tedious for us mods now......

Incorrect I cast in at 23:59:59 landed in the water in season. Fish was hooked by the time the feeder settled. I notice your not telling the people who have posted aggressive comments against me to play nice Mr Williams.

I'm sure when we've socialised in the past, or when you've been on my boat or round my house, or phoned me up, you've always called me either scuba or Steve...

If you didn't keep deliberately trying to wind people up on here, laying little traps to get people to 'bite' maybe you wouldn't get aggressive comments back.....but then again you know that anyway don't you... its all part of your 'game'.....
