I don’t understand how it’s got to this, it was a well stocked shop that covered most aspects of fishing. I’ve bought a few things from them over the past couple of years and always been happy with their pricing and service.
Good luck to them and hopefully they will re-emerge in the future in...
Around 5 years ago a mate and myself were fishing the entrance to farndon marina on the Trent for zander. It got dark and around 9pm he came over to me and asked what did she want….He said a woman had been at the side of me in just a white dress and it looked like she had been saying something...
I've an old Shimano 1.75lb Beast Master Classic All Round 11' AX I use on the Dearne. It's got a nice soft tip but progressive power under load, I suppose it's like a stepped up avon rod.

This year's convention will be held on Saturday 24 September, at the Newark Showground.
It should be an interesting day out for anyone who predator fishes there's 3 guest speakers, a multitude of trade stands, second hand stall and a raffle with £500 cash prize and many more smaller prizes.
I believe its either mitten crabs or crays. I fished a stretch on the upper Trent last Monday and late afternoon my luncheon meat and hard pellet baits were disappearing progressively faster up to dusk, so much so I packed in at 8pm out of frustration. This is an area not particularly known for...
