Will give it s go for sure. Got this silly aim to catch a barbel on the fly haha This stretch looks made for it. Someone did say park at Arley and walk down. Not sure if that is a viable option or not.

Fancy giving this stretch a go for the barbel. Quick question, now you cant park at the end of Northwood lane and have to park in Eymore wood public carpark which is a good trek, especially back as its all up hill with your gear. :eek: Does any one know of any easier parking areas for this...

Another 6 hour blank yesterday afternoon into dark. Think i need to get onto an easier water haha. The water i am fishing is big, full of carp anglers with what i am told a low stock of tench but with some biggies so worth the effort hopefully. Onwards an upwards.

Haha join the club 15 hours fished so far.

Off out tomorrow for my first tench trip. 👍

Thats a big snake. I would never ever fish there again. Spiders do not bother me. But snakes i hate. Its the way they move that does it i think.
