Hi Hurgen, yes, I got the bail arm sorted and put your SS IIs to good use over the last couple of springs/summers for the tench fishing. So nice I wanted another for the occasions I use a third rod 😊 I hope you find some reels you like as much
Hardly used, perfect condition, boxed, spare spool (still boxed). Got it for chub and perch fishing but will also cast distances for tench and bream, too. Very smooth and very light. Not sure that they are available new any longer.

Bank Tackle do a chod (or heli) safety system and a ‘naked’ version if you don’t feel the need to use a leader, which I usually don’t. They’re £3-odd, a bit more if you want the tungsten version. I haven’t seen the Korda bits other than in Joe’s photos, but these look exactly the same.

I think somebody told me that Dave Lumb’s Standard Specialist Harrisons are the same blank as the Ballistas? I have two of the 204s, the unground wrap of the carbon is very retro but I really like it
Drennan compact Power Float anybody? Or experience of them? I imagine they are a bit, err, powerful?? Other 13’ two piece float rods that cope ok with 4-6lb line recommendations?
Thanks Neil. I’d spotted that these had been introduced probably as the Series 7 replacement. Does the retractable telescopic butt work ok? I’ve got an Acolyte Compact and the screw off section of the handle is perfect…which is what the Series 7 had.
There are a couple on eBay but collection only. If anybody has one that isn’t being used and is willing to part with it (and post it), I might be interested.

Shop dependent. Holme on Spalding Moor said no, Goole said £30-odd and Market Weighton were £12 (or thereabouts) no measuring but weighed the tube. Sent rods twice in the last few months 👍
