Great App, fully endorse this, we've been running this in the fire service for the last 18 months and the control staff have used to great effect locating peoples in distress

12-24 mono hook link size 10 drennan hook. Running in line lead nice and simple. Will switch to korum running rig if using feeders

    Smelly baits

I've been experimenting glugging hookbaits in this korda goo stuff (never tried it before) . Mixing up garlic with krill etc. Cut a hookbait in half and it's soaked right in. Stinks in all

Martin Bowler Specialist Barbel 12ft 1.75lb

Second what Pete said, have the 1.75 and also the big river 2.25 n I love them. Use shimano 5000re on mine or Daiwa ss2600. Easily throw 4oz feeders across the wye and Taff on the 1.75. Buy them you won't regret it
  18. Mark Hooper

    Daiwa gs4000

Thanks Alan I'll steer clear then and look into something else
  19. Mark Hooper

    Daiwa gs4000

Just wondered if anyone has any experience using these reels. They seem a little smaller than the ss2600 but a better build. Thoughts gents.... Will mainly be using them for feeder work on the wye n Taff
