I have a Daiwa Capricorn 3500, its missing a clicker spring on the spare spool? where the best place to get a replacement?
Anybody here got info it would be very much appreciated
btw this reel was purchased in the us, but it was a model sold in the uk

Some good responses here, just to add as a Byfleet myself we have access to Calpac's waters at Cobham namely manor pond & River Mole
also we are affiliated to TVAA again they have a number of waters miles upon miles of riverbank
I remember slipping down a path, legs in the air tackle all over the place thought I got away without ant breakages. When I got to the riverbank on closer inspection the tip section was completely crushed. It was a Davies angling (Staines) Thames special 2lb tc with a terry Eustace genesis blank...

Agree - just had a look at there new online Catalogue they have a multitude of rods for the specimen / barbel angler!!
Some may argue expensive rods give better action - well for me with 1 barbel this year it not going to make a difference :)
I think they are more suited to slower flowing rivers and still waters, generally what happens on the retrieve (after dropping out) the door rotates in the flow and has a tendency to pull out. It maybe as already mentioned a modification is required.

Anybody on here that could give me the lowdown on this reel, in particular the difference between the 3.75 inch and 4.5 inch
I gather the larger diameter reel was more suited to float fishing and sea angling!
My intended use is for ledgering for Barbel, so I guess the 3.75 inch will be...

Being a member of Feltham i have not heard anything regarding the loss of sheepwalk, information usually comes round via a one-winged carrier pidgeon :)
11 versus 12
Plenty of pro's and con's with both rods but remember a 11 foot may just give you the edge in a tight swim perhaps when fishing under branches
