Yeah, that 15ft tourny is really nice rod, my favourite 15ft so far.

No, not all quality rods use cork handle. Consider browning spheres rods, best float rod ever, but with full Eva handle.

The new conny has 15ft power float option. And I am sure you already know, there will be 15ft normark avenger next year.

yeah, I know what you mean, and I am in the same boat. Still thinking of converting one of my chub specialist rod into a quiver tip, so it covers everything I need. If I have to pick one currently available blank from Harrison for chub, I think it will be the chimera Avon with twin tips. Or...

Nice rod, IMO this is the best blank for chub. Out of curiosity, what rod are you getting from MT?

I also have the 1939 aerial match and the float master su. Brilliant reel especially the 1939 aerial. Chris made the first 50 with narrow drum just like the original and wider drum for the remaining. I do wish he will take order again as I want the 1915 Avon, but chances are slim.

I 100% agree the stiffness and power are not the same thing. But to me, the power of the rod is when a rod bends under an external force, the force it generates to restore itself.
