Hello - it's been a while since the last thread on this topic so here goes.... I am in the market for a travel rod. I'll be fishing for big chub but would need the ability to deal with a decent barbel if one came along. It seems that the good ole John Wilson Avon Quiver is still going strong...

Anyone interested in buying my Avon Scales? Had them for 25 years and had them serviced around 4 years ago by the Avon Scale Co. but the screen is a bit foggy for my dodgy eyesight.
