Seems like that won’t be known until the end of the season, Joe. I guess it depends on whether anyone does take over the business but the Water Company will have some say in the matter whatever the future of the shop.

Andrew Burt on here sells floats that may well suit your requirements. They are certainly visible at distance and also feature interchangeable tips to suit different conditions.

Sonik rods may be worth a look. Reasonable quality and cheap as chips but they do the job. No 2.25 in their range but they do a 2.5 or a 2 in their range.
