Another Wye bit to buy.

No reason why a club couldn’t secure a mortgage/loan to buy it, provided that their finances are in good order.😉

If only stretches of the Hampshire Avon or Dorset Stour were that cheap Graham.
Ha.
I'm guessing more open country, cheaper housing, less traffic( Goodness how I hate the Bournmouth /Ringwood Jams and cameras) Less competition from other anglers, eg top Longford and Winkton, smaller Barbel, smaller Roach, smaller Chub, smaller Grayling.

If the size of the fish and the numbers fishing are a factor in the value of river stretches, those on the Trent must be worth millions….😉

Well, income on the stretch is around 4k pa. If that was increased by promotion to 8k you'll be getting a fair ROI compared with the market.

The difference is also affected by available fishing water. Trent and Wye are pretty big with lots of access available, as not so much syndicated and lots of available club access.

I'm sure the old Wye Salmon stretches would have been a lot lot more than now

Club wise Throop HAvon two major ones really.
