I'll second that Lee, Gardner Mirage for me to, supple, great knot strength , never had any problems.

Chris , personally I would go with a palomor knot all the time. The grinner knot , can tighten down weakening the line just above the the knot. :D

The thread was a question for a view on a new brolly, not sarcasm Richard. I myself am interested on people's views regarding brollys , so if you deem fit not to put any constructive input in , don't bother posting :( .
