Is that the shakespeare team rod that comes with the four push in green quivers ? I've still got one of those in the loft . Think it cost me a weeks wages .
I've been using the chub vantage one for a couple of seasons , very similar to this one . Doesn't take a 10ft one thou but fine for my 11ft rod upto 13ft.
Hi Bill
If this is made by the same people as aquasure, I keep mine in the freezer , take it out 30 minutes beforehand, it doesn't block up. I've had a tube in there for 5 plus years used it the other day , no problems.
I've got one of the original twin tip neoteric's fantastic rod for what I paid for it . Must be a good twelve years old now , thought about getting rid of it a couple of years ago , glad u didn't.
I'm glad someone else found them to be not that great, for the money I expected better . The heel area in mine have got a large bump in then now , so it causes blisters when you walk in them .
Tackle box does a skeletal rod sleeve, it's only padded at the tip, reel pouch and butt. I got one for an 11ft rod , nice and light. It's on there website, I haven't a clue how to put it on here thou
Hi Rob
I was using them again yesterday , and tried them with a kicker like Richard suggested and it seems to work out well, only wrapped around once all day, but I will also try the rubber tubing as well , cheers wayne
