    Even using a powerful isotope you wouldn't be able to see float at more than about 15 yards. I used to use a powerful torch when after tench but don't know whether that would put perch off. Also that was in a lake so didn't have to move torch.

    I have tried boilies and pellets both with and without glug. Do you think it makes any differnece or is it just a confidence thing. I just think that glugs usually make your hands smell, not good with her indoors.:)

    Another vote for the Drennan. They seem brighter than other isotopes that I've used but still much dimmer than glowsticks
