Re tapped the brolly did not work properly to stripped at the beginning. Have ordered the kit to try and fix the problem. Thanks for the advice

my sabre brolly system centre pole has cross threaded .use it to put it up then take it out ,the metal on the hub seems a lot softer then the pole .any suggestions for a quick fix.can still put it up with a bit of a struggle .
