For fluro, it’s a perfection loop knot for me. I’m happy with a fig 8 or double overhand on mono but wouldn’t be happy with it at all for fluro. I had similar issues losing fish on fluro and have lost all confidence in fluro loops but for the perfection.

I had a pair of the 11ft 3lbs, they were amazing rods. Not well suited to the water I ended up fishing but did manage to christen one with a 35lber before moving them on. Such a great playing action. Anyone tempted, go for it 🤓
