Had a call from MB last week regarding fishing a couple of the clubs stretches, he is a member of the club and took the trouble to make sure we were ok with this and asked if there was anything we wanted him to do. Not all anglers do this.

I have watched and caught barbel on the Lee using a headtorch and on the subject of noise I have used a petrol strimmer on the Avon 6 foot from a shoal of chub in 2 foot of water and they never moved. Another day you could put a foot gently down and they would all spook.
