    I've have had Thermos Ultimates for several years and use both sizes. I had one suddenly fail and could not understand why. I contacted the company explaining it was way out of warranty and they replaced it free of charge. Great flask and great service.

    Running or fixed

    Hatter, I always use running leads and usually with a pva mesh bag. I use a bag clip attached to the lead. The knot on the bag pushes in to this, then the hook is nicked into the other end of the bag. This stops the separation problem and removed all risk of tangles.

    I'm a tight Yorkshireman. So I buy OC's, and good second-hand if I can find them. I actually prefer the silver spool to the blingy gold.
