I used the avenger yesterday for about 2hours, but I can only compare the avenger with daiwa tournament 15ft bu and 13ft air z ags, normark has a much faster tip and lots power in the lower section, the action is very very similar to the normark 2000 but more powerful in the butt. Line rating on...
Daryl said they have this plan, maybe next year, but I guess it depends on how well the current range sales. Their next release will be feeder rods and a 13ft microlite.
Also tried the avenger that my mate bought. The 13ft avenger feels better than the 12-14ft, lighter and well balanced, and it has a fine tip that won’t bump the small fish. I wish they will bring the 15ft out soon.
The tip of the these rods are so fast just feels like a spliced one, and the...
No, honestly, there's no reason to spend that much on a rod, even though I did do it, I still say no. I did it because I am a tackle tart and want to please myself; it wont catch you more fish.
Basia has a slim and lighter blank compared to C3; the action is super, forgiving, but not floppy. I also like the handle and the reel seat, which look really lovely, but that is very personal. Casting very well, I used it with 2oz to 5oz leads, and never had a problem.
Basia is the one, I have both c3 and basia 2.25, blank wise, basia is way better. I personally don’t feel the guides is a problem even some people think the guides on basia are not good enough.
Although not for combi rig, I use loop to loop a lot to connect the braid and mono/fluro. But I use perfect loop instead of figure eight loop, seems the knot is stronger this way
During this past week, despite we are in the middle of a heatwave with low river levels, Many people witnessed EA electro fish the Thames around Oxford under the pretence of ascertaining fish populations. With the Thames hardly moving and this heat, I am wondering how many fish can recover from it…

I am always wondering how this wading trousers and boots thing works. My understanding is that the trousers and the socks are waterproof, but the boots are not, and have holes to let the water out. Is this correct?
