IAIN, my brothersbeen getting his stuff from tacklebox sincevery ealy 70 when he was a baliff on darenth and zen boko was living like a hermit over there for months at a time and everyone used indicator needles so high it had to be beleived, their tackle has always been in good order when sold...
if its the real tacklebox carp shop in or near dartford they are a terrific firm, any complaints immediately, their rods are superb, not as nice as our Bobs but very well made and finished, feel at ease purchasing from the tacklebox there nothing sinister there:D
i bought a daiwa mission net and handle with the stainless metal pins on the arms and stainless top part, great net and handle light but very strong and very useful 38 inch net, :)

feeling on top o the world this morning, just found a C0 compressor that only weighs 6lbs and can see me thru a days fishing, this will reopen longer sessions for me again. can even recharge the batteries from the car battery too,:):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Mike, i have used enterprise artificial pellets on a hair wrapped in a dollop of real halibut paste for a few years and it works fine with the benefit of once the paste washes off in the current ect orthru crays nipping at it the pellet still remains on the hair and enables you to fish on...
i always use a length of white plumbing plastic tubing and a suitable sized stopper for the ends, useful for taking them in the quiver too, works fine for me
