    Tri-Cast John Allerton Rod, anyone use it?

    They are an absolute steal second hand. Only problem being they come up for sale less frequently than a Triaxial does. In the possibly 15 years I have owned my TSI I have never seen another for sale. In that time I have seen three Triaxial and bought two of them.

    Two Triaxial 13-15 and a 14ft XS reside here also. Agree that the Triaxial is a markedly more powerful rod. It's only occasionally I need to get the 15ft TFG tsi power float rod out as a Triaxial isn't man enough.

    13ft 2 piece rods I dislike, I find them too cumbersome in the car, getting to my swim and when moving swims etc. 13ft 3 piece are better I have found. Currently using 14 foot 2 Tricast Trilogy extreme range feeder rods for my big casting bream & tench fishing. I will be trying them on running...
