    Reuben Heaton 9000 Digital Scales?

just a quick question regarding scales and readings - does anyone have a set of scales that measure in drams? I see so many people claiming fish weights including drams but have never seen a set of scales for fishing that accurate. Am I just being cynical or do they really exist? One very well...

    Reuben Heaton 9000 Digital Scales?

I have had mine for 2 years now, never had any issues and used regularly, not just for fishing. I have to say I did try rechargeable batteries which was a bad move - they just did not last. Since removing them I use the Energizer High Tech batteries (I sell batteries so know the better options)...

    New British record

Second option here, the nene on one of the backwaters or possibly even off a nearby area of main rive. Been fishing really well over last couple of seasons, and could be an outside bet for a really special fish.

    Ivel Eel

Hi Russell, did see one once back in the early 90's which went 3lb 3oz and have had a couple of smaller ones, but not for many years.

    The enchanted killer

Nice to see the video, but my first thoughts were that it was a mink not an otter. Mink make the bubble trail, and are more inquisitive than young otters, and will be seen more often during daylight hours too. It just didn't seem to move and look right to me - more like a mink.

    Typical bloody minded canoeist?

Canoes on the Ouse I have the fishing rights to a stretch of the Ouse, and Sunday we had a father and two sons come by. They could be heard screaming and shouting from about half a mile away. When we told him to keep quiet he response was he could do what he liked, when we told him the stretch...
