If you look on the American sites (ebay.com) you will see them on there. They are japanese imports made in japan. The spools are up for sale at over £100. And yes would be better 2500 size.

Im not sure Jon it was a job lot of stuff i bought. Someone brought them over from America they are all new never and been opened. They retail here for upto £35.00 so a third of the retail price.

These reels are Japanese imports from America. They retailed for up to 600 dollars and are top of the range Shimanos. They are small spinning reels ideal for shot dropping. Price is £120 each plus postage, or collection from Poole.

I have just acquired one of these in a 1lb 1/4oz test curve with a built in quiver. I believe they were made by a certain Paul Boote who use to post on here. I just wondered if anyone knows what blank etc they were made from?
I know this is a bit of a long shot. But does anyone have any spare quivertips for the above rod.
I have a pair of Barbel Specialists 1 1/2 lb socket for the tips are very small between 2-2.5mm
The rod hasn't got a test curve on it but reading on the net they seem to be built around 1994 and the test curves were stated at 1.75lb. Mybe someone on here might know more about them. As for price i don't have a clue. They seem very very rare!

Yes it was, i thought the same as you and put it on ebay. But the bottom has fallen out of the pakaseat market omly got £32 for it. This one was in very good condition there was one on afterwards made £15:(
