I’ve got the same on my aviators and think they’re nicer than the Fuji black dps anyway. Older rods I’ve got with black Fuji dps were a mat finish, where as the newer glossier one looks a bit tacky I think.

On the 11ft chimera 1.75lb I've got a Shimano Aero XR 5000 and it feels like a wand. For the 12ft no2 my Daiwa ss2600 feels well balanced for me.

The carp book 'Waiting For Waddle' seems to be one of the ones that does genuinely sell for big money on a fairly regular basis, I've seen it go for over £300. I spoke to someone who had a copy from new and made a good bit of money on it, he said, 'It's not even that good' 😂
