I've tracked down the title but hopes of it being on youtube haven't materialised. The BBC have it listed bu there is no access to it that I can find.

if you do decide to spray it I'd recommend using some etch primer as a basecoat, will make any chance of flaking off less likely. You can get it from any auto paint place. I think a Saab `anthracite` would look good.
Bit unlikely, but having broken mine looking for a replacement as in title - please let me know if you might have one you'd part with.
Many thanks, Julian
I`ve discovered these & find them good - http://www.coxandrawle.com/products/hooks-singles/chinu
I used up all my 'crab' versions but they were strong & sharp as well.
Another Apod photo of a river - this time in Latvia. Looks very cold & the ice floes woud make trotting a bit difficult!

Well it`s not mine & there`s probably no barbel for hundreds of miles but it`s lovely:
I use this website for astronomy stuff & there is an interesting photo every day

This study got a mention on the local news & is another issue probably, but interesting reading nonetheless:

I came across this website recently & it will be of interest to anyone who followed his writing & exploits:

It`s put together very well.
Mine seem pretty happy in some old horse muck - it`s been too cold for any breeding I think but hopefully they might get active now it`s warming up a bit.
I`m really sorry to hear nothing positive has happened. I see from the gauge at Crakehill that the level must be close to being back to normal now, but I suppose that means the weir at Crakehill will not be so easy to cross even going downstream. It must mean it can`t move further up though. I...
I got something similar years ago from Fastnet - http://www.fastnetsports.com/salmon-gye-landing-net.html If you give them a ring they be able to help out. I see a lot of their complete nets seem to be on sale at the moment & look like a real bargain to me.
As an alternative there is Redport...
I`ve had a go with this chap`s way with bread & it seems effective & gives confidence the bait`s still there at the end of a trot:

Might be worth a try.
Selling up some of my stuff & wonder if there is any interest here rather than resorting to Ebay.
Hardy 10` No.2 spinning rod in hardly use condition - it had a handful of outings for pike on the Swale.
I`ve checked it over very carefully & have only found 3 tiny marks to the varnish. I have...
Well worth a visit - a Leeds book will give you some pleasant areas with access to good fishing but at peak times can be busy. I`m out of date with day tickets but sure there will be some. Have a look at this & his other videos:

This isn`t too bad for weight & is certainly comfy:

The adjustable legs are very handy & the rear frame can be folded up for even steeper banks.
Maybe one of you older members might be interested in this Mitchell Match – it is in very good overall condition, runs very well. Nice snappy bale arm. Anti-reverse in place. Some little sections of paint loss on the foot & around the rear of the body, but overall pretty smart. I can include a...
