Weight of Korum fast mat and supa lite fast mat

If I have a few hours roving & it's not too rainy I find this handy - about 400g - carried in the net. https://www.screwfix.com/p/memory-foam-support-kneeling-mat-black/98651#product_additional_details_container

    How far ?

Cundall Lodge is really well organised & after an initial flurry for opening day is generally quiet enough. https://www.cundall-lodgefarmfishery.co.uk/ Good chub as well. My favourite would be Fawdington - there is a day ticket scan thing on the fence posts now! - Helperby & Brafferton AC - I'd...

    Chick peas

It's fun to plant a few chickpeas with the kids - they make a pretty foliage plant.

    Boot Space for fishing tackle

Audi allroad - fancy air suspension £££££ - Volvo XC70 - petrol has a drink problem, diesel great engine, but thay all have the Haldex for 4wd which is a ticking timebomb. I went through a similar list - ended up with a Subaru Forester, an Outback would be as good. Avoid diesel in either & go...

    Grayling

If you're in Bala you must get a bite to eat at the famous `Pete's eats` where you will get the biggest postions on Earth. They do a simple bunk bed sleeping dormitory as well, mostly for walkers & climbers, but I'm sure an angler could sneak in.

    Crayfish nip-offs??

Thanks for the replies chaps - I'm fishing close in & strike sooner than later so do hope it's not a chub bite - off. Had a few hours today with no similar problems & one small chub.

    Crayfish nip-offs??

Have had very few days out over the year & was hoping to get out today but the weather is really foul so stuck at home. To do something fishy thought I’d ask here for any opinions / advice: On my last 2 visits to the Ure I’ve struck into a fairly tentative `chub` bite, feel resisstance & a...

    If Only

Mr. Theodore Castwell, having devoted a long, strenuous and not unenjoyable life to hunting to their doom innumerable salmon trout and grayling in many quarters of the globe, and having gained much credit among his fellows for his many ingenious improvements in rods, flies and tackle employed...

    Whitlock landing net. Replacement net.

These will be good quality I expect - http://www.fastnetsports.com/standard-landing-net-bags.html & not expensive - should be `holey` enough as they'll be used on fast flowing salmon rivers.

    Mitchell Match 440A

I can never get used to the rotor going the `wrong way`! I have a couple sitting in a drawer & I take them out to have a go now & then but it's a lot of unlearning to do!

    Online Maggots

I've used them a couple of times & been very happy with the freshness & delivery, but have now heard 4 complaints - maybe they are not shifting stock as usual & it's throwing up problems. Can't think of any others I'm afraid. It's good lobworm hunting weather though!

    River Lugg vandalism

I find it hard to believe that decision. I hope the EA grow a pair & see to it there is some consequence to his actions.

    Wanted - 42" arms & net please.

Can anyone help with selling me their old net & arms - would prefer something with a fairly open mesh. Not bothered about a few `extra` holes! Fibreglass or carbon OK. I have a strong spreader block so don't really need one with the arms. If you have something & can post please let me know...

    Wanted Shark/Boat Sea Fishing Tackle

That`s OK - I'm not a saltwater man! It did get me thinking about JAWS however, & I found this article about that huge Penn in the film: https://www.themeateater.com/fish/saltwater/bar-room-banter-would-quints-reel-have-cranked-in-jaws

    Wanted Shark/Boat Sea Fishing Tackle

Spotted these & wondered if they might be any use? Old but pretty simple to service I would think & probably unbreakable! : https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/238607424308181/?ref=search&referral_code=undefined...
