In the interest of protecting wildlife, I think I'd be more inclined to entertain cats using the lazer site of a gun! Wink and smile face.

The simple fact is that if barbel 'thrived' in stillwaters then stillwaters would already hold them without stocking and they would be classed as being a stillwater species. The fact is, however, that they don't, they aint and they never have!

Stuart. I'd suggest using something long, light, soft and forgiving, if you want lots of control and not too many hook pulls!
