Bit of a long shot as they stopped producing them a while ago but i have one and love it...would love another for perch and roach with alarms but cant seem to find one anywhere. This is the 1lb TC avon model with 0.75lb TC quiver section. Not the lighter specialist version. Please help!
For the money i wasnt impressed. Not awfull but not good enough when maxima or sensor are so much cheaper and more reliable...like so many have said i am not convinced by the zero viz properties of even clean fluoro. Take a length snorkelling with you when next somewhere warm enough and you will...

I did wonder how long it would be before someone mentioned the unhooking mat! I do have one with me for when the bank is stoney etc but it is totally unecessary on lush grassy banks.

River wye piking advice.
Got a mate coming up from cornwall soon who wants to get in on some good pike fishing, i initially thought chew might be my destination. but i prefer flowing water and was wondering which beat of the wye is a nice pike fishery. I am not necessarily interested in...
Strange though as the 10lber and the 7lber that i posted on here are from the same area , bigger, and as you can see from the photos on this thread they are both bars of silver. Infact i have never has a bass this colour before and i have caught quite a few fish considerable larger than this...a...
Heres another nice one taken on a lucky craft sammy 10cm...unbelievable lure...seem to be getting alot of larger bass on it at the mo.
Anyway...not monstrous but still a nice size at 5lb 9oz, check out how dark the fish is though, really brown and olive coloured, when i first saw it surface...
Crocs have been on my mind a bit recently, am currently trying to decide whether to take a surveying job in Brisbane for a few years but the thought of how many creatures i am likely to run into that can kill me (and some that will actively try to) everytime i go fishing (which is alot) is...
I have always used a pin to float fish...standard practice. But am never one that placed the centrepin on a pedestal.
However, I have recently learnt to wallis cast...I couldn't believe all the fuss thats chatted about it, one hour and it felt like second nature, achieving some good distances...
