Sorry, I should have pointed out, I was referring to Neil’s post about the extra eye and whether it hinders you when you use a conventional reel.

Does it hinder you if you use both sorts of reels ?

Cheers Joe, My main rivers will be the Ribble (not in flood) , Goyt and the Mersey and possibly the Tame. The rods they will be used on are a set of Peregrine 12’ GTX 1.75’s + 11’ Harrison 1.75 and a 10’ 1.75
