    I think it helps with the waterproofing of the outside nylon material, I know some people using wet suits spray the outside with back to black silicon spray. Not sure on the implications for water quality. I know some others use Ballistol oil in spray form.

    I really like this thread , I just think great , some people have life sorted coffee on the back fishing was a major worry. I look forward to this been one of my major panics in life. This is what I love about BFW it keeps you grounded. Btw grounded coffee reference intended.
