No need to pin line down. When I'm fishing severn in summer flood 2oz lead tops. Need more lead in wrong place. A braid stop or even a shot a foot above the lead stop crap coming over your bait. I look for pegs behind tress . You be surprised how close in you catch
Afternoon folks having a shed built and was looking at rod rack so I can have my rods set ready to go for what species I'm fishing for as anyone done this or got some ideas cheers in advance
Joe I found putting a lot of bait in and fishing over the top is kiss of death on Severn.. if I bait up I do it first thing and fish in the evening.. or after a fished a swim I chuck in some bait when I finish and return the next day
I did like the article about eel fishing Martin Perhaps could do one about zander fishing on the Severn from the bank.. I'm sure John or Barry Mc would do a great write up about this kind of fishing
Martin last few so called new mags that came out was awful To be fair I didn't know what to expect but must say I've enjoyed the mag trouble is now I read most of it and now need something to read while I'm eel fishing:D
I got stop last year and asked to show my license .I left it in the motor and told them you got no chance me walking miles back to my motor. He took my name and address and got my details up straight away before getting back into his speed boat and going on his way. So I wouldn't worry too...
Just had a quick look at catch cult and must say I'm surprised how good it looks and glad it's not all about carp and there is a a nice read about eels . Not going to read it all yet need something to read while I'm eel fishing
