    Definitely a lot better in well oxygenated water like Andrew has said but saying that I landed a good barbel and lost one in 6ft of water but with a good flow on it today on the trent.

    Dave take the thumb screw off the reel and look inside it, on both of mine there was four little metal tabs with a groove down the centre, these should have been a full washer. Looks like I've over tightened them and they've split. Now when I tighten them up, the first turn of the handle doesn't...

    Phoned them this morning and explained the problem of my medium lc's handle coming loose when winding in, they told me to send a sae and they would send two washers out, no cost. Cant complain at that;)

    Keep an eye on the batch's John, I've had them before were one batch was really dark and full of oil then the next batch was a lot paler and not has much oil in. Brilliant bait tho mate;)
