Sanctimonious and naive. I don't know where to start with breaking the law. The political class seem to have their collective noses in the trough. Corruption abounds in the country. I don't have a problem with not paying the rod and line licence tax. In the scheme of things. It's nothing. It...
If you think that the courts would fine EA licence tax transgressions £2500. I think you're a tad naeve 🙂. The EA mobilising 'resources' to catch EA licence tax transgressors will surely demonstrate their non -environmental priorities.
As has been suggested. You don't have to fish. If you...
You don't have to fish and risk a fine. There was a fishing strike in Ireland in the 80's. That sent a message. If anyone's underwhelmed with the performance of the EA it doesn't take much balls to boycott their rod and line licence tax.
Don't laugh. But may I suggest the Dacia Duster. I'm on my second model. I've owned the Audi's and Mercs in the past. But the Duster is by far the most practical. I own the front wheel drive model. Its great off road and I kept it uncovered in the Austrian Alps for the whole of the winter 22/23...
Regardless of cost a licence boycott is sending a message.
I think that voting makes absolutely no difference with the current choice of main stream political incompetents. For this reason, a low voting turnout sends another message.
Introducing a PR system could shakes things up and...
As a teenager. I used to fish the Brandsburton gravel pits in East Yorkshire for the carp. Because of the transport problems at that age (bicycle rides). This mainly involved an overnight session.
The area back then was a lot more rural, and light pollution was minimal. Anyway, one night I...
Agreed there. Dave apart from his Predator range also supplies the Chimera 3's and Torrixes. The Chimera 3's (2.25 lb TC - barbel rods) will handle most carp and pike that swim in British waters.
Purchased from new. Used 9 times last spring for tench on my Chimera 1's (1.75 lb TC). Genuine reason for sale. I don't like them😄. Good condition boxed. About £200 new. Will accept £130 posted.
That looks neat. I had my 410's along with sports kit stolen in a car fire in the early 90's (these things happened then). It was out of necessity that I converted to bait runners. I couldn't go back now. I tried though some years back with Mitchell 306's on a pair of Terry Eustace big pikes...
For a period I worked for a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Water. All employees could join the SW share option scheme. You basically saved into the company savings account, and after 5 years, when the share price hopefully had gone up, you could purchase the shares at the previous price...
I get the impression, that the Telford venue doesn't suit many barbel anglers, other than those living near the Wye and Severn. It doesn't bother me personally (what's an extra hour or two) although I can see a good reason for a venue located near Newark or Nottingham. Centrally located for...
I read it is as well. There's nothing wrong in holding an honest, genuine, opinion Paul. Especially, if I remember correctly, that the BS President was publicly canvassing opinion on the past conference at Telford.
